2024 WWBC

The Wharton Women Business Conference is our biggest event of the spring semester. Learn from high-profile women leaders in business as they share experiences and advice gained during their careers. Previous keynote speakers have included Kat Cole (President and COO of Focus Brands, former CEO of Cinnabon), Deborah Fine (CCO of Modell’s Sporting Goods & former CEO of Victoria’s Secret PINK), and Michelle Kelly (EVP of Brand Distribution, Marketing, & Merchandising at Lilly Pulitzer). There will also be a panel featuring women from a variety of industries, including retail, finance, entertainment, and tech. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, a LinkedIn photoshoot, goodie bags, and an afternoon mingling with the speakers and fellow Wharton Women members!

 

2025 Committee

Arthi Venkatakrishnan

Arthi Venkatakrishnan (Class of 2026) is from Princeton, NJ and is concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics. She joined Wharton Women her freshmen fall and has since served as a member of the Marketing committee as well as the VP of Marketing, where she designed dozens of social media posts and photographed Wharton Women events. Arthi’s love for Wharton Women and inspiration for joining the Board stems from her passion for the uplifting professional and personal community the organization has provided. Now as VP of University Relations, she’s excited to ensure that every undergraduate woman can feel connected to Wharton Women. Outside of Wharton Women, Arthi is involved in the PEER Mentoring Program. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and learning new things. Tayida Chaiyakiturajai

Tayida Chaiyakiturajai (Class of 2026) is from Bangkok, Thailand and is concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. She joined Wharton Women her Freshman Spring as one of the Speakers Chair for the WWBC. Outside of Wharton Women, Tayida is involved with MUSE Generalist Consulting, WITG, and PennThai. In her free time, you can catch Tayida baking, shopping, and exploring Philly restaurants. 

Kayuga De Guzman

Kayuga de Guzman (Class of 2028) is from Waialua, Hawai’i and plans to pursue a double concentration in Health Care Management & Policy and ESG with a minor in Bioethics. She first joined Wharton Women as a Freshman and Professional Liaison for the Marketing Committee and now serves as the Marketing Chair for WWBC. Outside of Wharton Women, she is involved in Onda Latina, the Asian Pacific Student Coalition, Phi Gamma Nu, and the Penn Philippine Association. In her free time, you can find Kayuga dancing, trying new foods, or crying over 90s rom-coms.

Janet Fu

Janet Fu (Class of 2027) is from Fayetteville, Arkansas and is pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Mathematics with a minor in Fine Arts. In addition to serving as a logistics chair for WWBC, Janet competes on the Penn Sailing Team and is involved with Wharton Impact Venture Associates, Philo, and serves as a TA. Back in Fayetteville, you can usually find her reading, baking black bean brownies, exploring the outdoors, or making kombucha. 

Gia Gupta

Gia Gupta (Class of 2028) is from Cherry Hill, New Jersey and joined Wharton Women as one of the Catalyst Co-Chairs. Outside of Wharton Women, she is also involved in other clubs like Penn Spark and 34th Street Magazine. In her free time, you can find Gia reading poetry, filming vlogs or hanging out with her siblings.

Carissa Keng

Carissa Keng (Class of 2027) is from Austin, Texas and plans to pursue a double concentration in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Consumer Psychology. She joined Wharton Women her Freshman Spring as part of the MBA Committee. Outside of Wharton Women, Carissa is involved with Wharton Cypher Accelerator, Smart Women Securities, Renewal Christian Fellowship, and Penn Taiwanese Society. In her free time, you can catch Carissa running, eating, shopping, and scrolling on Pinterest. 

Abigail Kriger

Abby (Class of 2027) is from Connecticut and plans to pursue a double concentration in Finance and Real Estate. She joined Wharton Women her Freshman Fall as a part of the Marketing Committee where she filmed Locust Talks and general Reels as well as photographed Wharton Women’s major events. This spring, she’s excited to join the University Relations committee as a External Events chair. Outside of Wharton Women, Abby is involved with MUSE Generalist Consulting, WUREC Careers Committee, CWiC, and the Penn Band.

Anoosha Shukla

Anoosha Shukla (Class of 2028) is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and plans to pursue a double major in Biology and Economics with a minor in Statistics. She joined Wharton Women her Freshman Fall as a part of the MBA Mentorship Committee. Outside of WW, Anoosha is a dancer on Penn Masti and works for the Daily Pennsylvanian Business team. In her free time, Anoosha loves to dance, bake, and try new food! 

Rosemary Yang

Rosemary Yang (Class of 2027) is from Oakland, New Jersey and is concentrating in Finance and Business Economics & Public Policy. She joined Wharton Women as the Marketing Chair for WWBC and is now currently working as the Speakers Chair. Outside of Wharton Women, Rosemary is involved in WAX, The WALK, and WWL. In her free time, she loves trying new activities such as scrapbooking and baking.
